Emily Marcella Photography provides photography services for young couples documenting the next chapter of their lives. Focusing on wedding photography, maternity, and new family photos.
Goals
The goal of the new EM brand is to communicate ‘I want you to feel comfortable and connected with me so that you can get the most from our interaction.’ Photography is surprisingly a vulnerable thing to experience – the subject is the center of attention and all eyes are on them. Emily approaches all her clients with a warm demeanor and presence that helps them feel comfortable quickly. We wanted to bring that warm, calm and safe feeling to the branding through pairing strong typography and a soft floral brandmark.

Before working with Christen, I would try to DIY my logos and never be satisfied. The fact that she took a daunting task, designing a well thought out logo, off my plate and produced a phenomenal result makes me so happy! Christen did so well with receiving my feedback during and turning it into the perfect logos. It's hard to communicate exactly what you're thinking but Christen was great at asking questions to help me clarify what I was looking for.
